Inspired by the choreography of Bob Fosse, Jerome Robbins and Gus Giordano, Jazz technique at Nolte focuses on pirouettes, extensions, floor-work and leaps. Your eligibility for each level is determined by previous training, rather than by age.
You've mastered all the beginning skills, can do pirouttes, leaps, battements, chaine turns, jumps and short combinations, and are ready to incorporate more advanced skills such as, double pirouttes, side leaps, switch leaps, axel turns, and longer more challenging combinations.
Now you're ready to focus on more challenging skills such as leg holds, tours, triple pirouettes and turning leaps, meanwhile developing your "jazz" style as the combinations get longer and more challenging.
Jazz 6 students have graduated to turning leg holds, illusions, tour combinations, turning combinations, backwards leaps and much more! Focus on proper technique while having fun with choreography and style.
Our most advanced level of Jazz assumes professional level skill and technique, and the ability to quickly master demanding choreography.
Levels 4+ can add this class for an opportunity to focus intensely on tours, switch-leaps, backward rolls, switch-seconds, walkovers and more.
